Deep in the heart of the old spa town of Chianciano Terme, the values upheld by the watchmaking brand, Pilo & Co Genève, were lovingly transposed in July 2017, just a short time after its most recent store opening in China. In a nod to the past, the name of the brand’s collections is replete with Transalpine resonances.
In the presence of Her Worship the Mayor
The two famous slender hounds adorning the logo since its tenth anniversary have now transformed the brand’s seal into a noble coat of arms. They have captured the hearts of visitors and locals alike in this charming tourist destination and high place of beautiful Italy, a country geared to good living and hospitality.
Adding zest to the local proceedings, the store opening was the occasion for around a hundred or so guests and neighbors, including Her Worship the Mayor, Gabriella Ferranti, having delivered her welcome speech, to discover the 56 m2 two-floor venue housing the masterpieces in the brand’s 11 collections. Among them featured the famous Invidia and Doppio Orario, two series in particular that fly high the identity flag of Pilo & Co Genève.
Affordable Swiss precision
Known for its tendency to combine strong design concepts at majorly affordable prices with Swiss precision, be it mechanical or quartzpowered, Pilo & Co Genève is one of the jewels in the Helvetian crown that carries the industry’s colours high and proud and beyond the mountains. Otherwise little inclined towards media exposure, Amarildo Pilo, the man with whom the adventure began, confronted with the warming sight of a wave of new brand followers, rose to the occasion and delivered a heartfelt speech steeped in emotion.
