Pilo & Co Genève's 10th anniversary Launch in 2011

The story behind

La Corleone marks a turning point for Pilo & Co Genève, the first in the collection to embrace the codes of sport without letting go of the house’s watchmaking roots. Not every watch has to be round, and we knew it was time to make a statement.

This version introduces a sleek, technical aesthetic with a bold black PVD stainless steel case and a woven carbon fiber dial. Variable-sized Arabic numerals bring rhythm and structure to the hour display, enhanced by dauphine hands and a day-date complication at 3 o’clock.

Readability

Symbolic of a youth that has grown in awareness, assertion and self-confidence. The bold square face, with its alert, masculine gaze, despite the overwhelming presence on the wrist and a tendency towards classicism, proudly sports a broad bevel. A promising playground for the fertile imagination of the gem-setter, who, on special request, will delight in filling it with a myriad
hand-picked jewels.

At 12 and 6 o’clock, bold Arabic numerals rise above dauphine-shaped indexes, all angled with intent toward clear, confident readability. Day and date windows complete the display, practical without ever feeling technical.

Movement

The very epitome of Swiss made perfection, the Corleone thus strengthens the DNA behind Pilo & Co. It encases an old and rare ETA 2846 movement obtained from a limited edition of 500 movements crafted well before the brand's creation and now fully revitalised. A metaphor for survival, a nod to a promise-filled future. On the back of the case, a square aperture reveals an oscillating weight adorned with subtle customisations.

pilo-watches.com offers a two-year warranty on parts and labor. This warranty covers shipping and insurance on shipping. This warranty cannot cover leather wrist-bands, batteries or any item modified or altered by a third party or given any inappropriate use by being subjected to shock, chemical products, etc.
